Just Footprints Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge

Just FootprintsThere’s no place like home, and at long last the Just Footprints Foundation has found the perfect site for ‘Camp Footprints’, our own bush camp space we can now call ‘home’. 

This unique camp facility, to be situated in the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve just north of Pretoria, will be a’ first of its kind’ campsite in South Africa. Entirely wheelchair friendly and specifically designed to accommodate the needs of children suffering from serious health and life challenges.

Our challenge at Just Footprints is to raise funds to transform our newly acquired ‘bush space’ into an exciting adventure camp for children who because of illness or traumatic life circumstances have not been able to participate in normal childhood experiences.

Another first for the Just Footprints Foundation is a challenge of another nature. A challenge you can be a part of, a challenge where your blood, sweat and tears will contribute to a worthy cause.

This year will be our inaugural Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge fundraising initiative and the Just Footprints Foundation would be delighted if you and your cycling buddies would join in the race and leave behind tyre track that would transform into everlasting footprints.

A minimum donation of R3,000 per entry will immediately transform you into a child’s ‘super camper hero’. Equipped with a Camp Footprints cycle shirt and  water bottle,  every push of the pedal will leave a memorable imprint on the life of one of our campers. Make up a team and come and enjoy the challenge of the ride and the joy of knowing that some special child will be having a whale of an adventure with your effort.

It’s easy. When registering for the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge, all you have to do is specify that you will be supporting the Just Footprints Foundation. Then log on to www.backabuddy.co.za to become a Just Footprints ‘Charity Champion’ and get your family, friends and colleagues involved in your effort by simply forwarding the link to them.
 


Don’t delay, entries close 3 October. The Just Footprints charity start group is BB and our allotted departure time slot is 08h15.

Enthusiastic cycling supporters are definitely not excluded. Simply register on www.backabuddy.co.za as a Just Footprints ‘Charity Champion’ and you instantly become a super camper hero and camp ambassador. Each supporter contribution of R1,200 secures a place for one child at a 5 day camp. A Camp Footprints hero kit comes standard!

If you don’t/can’t cycle, make up a ‘Virtual’ team by registering on www.backabuddy.co.za site and still be a super camper hero! A minimum R3000 donation per person allows you entry into the Just Footprints Virtual Team.

The Just Footprints Foundation is a registered non-profit organisation and Public Benefit Organisation with Section 18A status.

  • Cotlands (children infected/affected with HIV)
